I have recently purchased this hammer gun, it says hollis and sons London, has 30 inch barrels both full choke and have the word steel on them it's also nitro proofed , been told its worth a bit.

Nice gun! Make sure you get it checked out by a competent smith and shoot only proper low pressure loads. Enjoy!

Worth a bit but not a lot . Shoot it and enjoy it .But as said please get it checked over bfore use .

I Hollis was the retailer of the gun. They didn't make it. Chances are that the proofs will be from Birmingham and sourced from there.

Although essentially a Birmingham maker to the trade Issac Hollis & Sons had etail offices in Cheapside and Great Winchestr Street, London close to the Minories from which they organized the export aspect of their business.

Your gun appears to be of "export" or "colonial" quality.
