The little snowman on these Meriden Barrels?

Looks like an eight(8) so the tubeset was a numbered set?

I think Marks_21 is referring to the three circles behind the forend hanger. But the one on the left barrel may be remnants of the same mark.

Thanks Jason, and interesting. Since the mark is also on the lug support, it is probably a Meriden finisher or inspector mark, and not that of the tube maker.
The marks of Lucient Clement, Heuse-Riga Fils, and Henri Pieper have been found on Meriden Fire Arms damascus barrels.
