Now, as I think about it, Steve Barnett had a milti-barrel grade 3 NID that one barrel set WAS damascus. Since the NID came into the market in 1926, that set has yet to be explained. It did not have Ithaca name on the barrel but the numbers on the barrel and receiver match and size was the same. It had been refinished, it was nice. To me it look like a NID with the short rounded side reciver
