Anonymous Unregistered	I was looking at the proof on a couple of Spanish doubles I have and they are marked "1000K P/cm2" and the other 900K P/cm2 What does this translate into psi? Thanks

PeteM Sidelock Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 4,598 IL	For modern Spanish shotguns, 12,800 psi is the 2nd smokeless proof. The 1st smokeless proof is 12,000 psi. This gun has been proofed up to 14,223 psi. If it is chambered for 12ga, it should have no problem handling heavy loads. Pete
