I have a 52B at the shop with a bad trigger. It may go 50 shots with no problem then on 51st shot it goes from a 1# pull to about a 12# pull. I've got a couple books on them and have had it apart and basically started over on the trigger adjustment - nothing works. I think someone has gone in and stoned something somewhere, but I cant tell where.

Does anybody know of an aftermarket trigger for a 52B? I've never heard of one, but that doesn't mean anything. What about "new" 52B triggers? The gun really shoots (1 moa @ 100yds with a 10X Litschert) so the guy wants to keep it.

Any help is appreciated.

The weak link in the 52B's were the trigger. 52C and later rifles had a much improved trigger.
Canjar was probably the most widely used aftermarket trigger for the B's. They turn up for sale from time to time.
