It makes me think that we really haven't progressed all that much in fine sporting rifle design since the 1930's & in some respects we have regressed. Nothing like getting the scope down low as possible.

He worked at Griffin & Howe until Whelen got him away to work at National Gunshop then Parker-Whelen. About all I know is that he learned the trade by apprenticeship in Scotland. Anyone have anything to offer on John Hutton I'm all ears. MP Sadly Deceased as of 2/17/2014
