my view, supported by stevens i think, is that the federal courts have no business ruling on matters reserved to the states and to the people. as to gun control, if a state or city wishes to control guns, then that is their business and not within the juristiction of the federal court system.

to quote stevens: "Public policies concerning gun control should be decided by the voters elected representatives, not by federal judges."
