I have a A&F from who knows when that is rectangular and opens on both ends as well.I picked it up a auction that had mostly horse related stuff and its one of my favorites.
Very well made,one side allows for the stock and barrel (with a pocket for the cleaning rod) and the other is a smaller area for the cleaning tools,oil bottle.Only drawback is it has someone elses intials embossed on it.
