Ad today on Gun Broker for a French Saint-Etienne 12 ga SxS boxlock, barrels made by Didier Drevet 1907 - 12466?? chamber marked in cm 6.5. Gun was marketed apparently in Dieppe. Pretty gun; particularly like the stock. The seller claims the case colors (Jaspage) are original or a well done remake. Any comments on the case colors? https://www.gunbroker.com/item/998258318i spoke for this gun this morning....will be interesting to have it in hand. seller says it is quite pretty, and in fine condition. he is a lefty, and it has something approaching 1/2" of cast-off - said he was considering sending it to mike orlen, with a request to try for 1/4" cast-on....i told him that would be a pretty tall order for a small wristed stock. ended up agreeing on $950 for the gun. best regards, tom
