The club I shoot at harvests it's lead shot every year. They have since 1947. The one club I shoot at in Florida is a "steel only" trap club anyway, so......not that big of a deal to shoot steel shot. Manufacturers can make new clays guns with barrels that shoot steel, so......not a big deal to me.
If you had bothered to actually read what is going on, in some of the links posted, one of the legislators believes children are being poisoned by lead shot at their trap leagues, and that “endangered loons” ( loons are NOT endangered) are threatened by hunters and trap shooters using lead shot.
If you or any other clown bothers to “follow the science” you can and will discover both points are completely false.
But, it is a religion, not fact based, so, no big deal to you.
