Howdy folks.
I have a cheap sling that has lasted maybe ten years but at this point I do not trust it.

Can anyone recommend a good sling, preferably, leather, with loops and adjustable would be nice. No swivels.

I like the ones the guy that sells the Communist Sauer Suhl shotugns sells but I can't remember the name of website right now. I have three of them.

Glad I could narrow it down for you though.

Best,

Mike

Mike, went there, found no shotgun slings?
Posted By: HomelessjOe Re: Shotgun Sling - 11/10/09 07:15 PM
I think they are confusing rifle slings with shotgun slings.

Cabelas carries one

I use the ones from Ken, but they require swivels.

Reliable sources inform me that Mr. Wood is busy digging up cream cans full of money in his yard, to go to the Tulsa gun show....Thanks Mike.....

Chuck it occurs to me that that hippy gunsmith that shows up at your place mooching hunting might have what you need too. It seems like everbody on this board has the sling stuff removed from their guns.

Best,

Mike

Over the Sea thinning out some pinks (pinkfoot geese). Stopped at the Orvis shop in Banchory, low and behold they had just what I was looking for, a bit pricey but I plan on getting my money's worth and then some, hell the grandchildren will use it.

Wonder if the buckles are plastic ?

H-Joe
Nylon D-ring and buckle.

Wish I had seen your post earlier, Birdog. The Galazan is the very best shotgun sling available. The front part is leather covered spring steel that fits TIGHTLY over the barrels, and the other end slides over the grip (you do not want the one that cradles the butt). I've used these on o/u's and sxs's and they are the best.
