I have an old (1920s?) Ithaca that I was told was a Flues Model. It is a beater, but has an English stock. Is this common?

In the mid- to higher grades you see factory original straight grip stocks on Flues model Ithacas, but they are very uncommon on Field Grade, No. 1, No. 1 Special and No. 1 1/2. There are probably more of these low grades with straight grip stocks that were done after-market then left Fall Creek Water Power Lot No. 6 that way.

Thank you for the information. The gun is pretty well used and the stock is a little loose. Checkering is worn off for the most part. It is a 16 gauge. I am in the process of thinning some of these old doubles out.
