A friend brought a Hammergun over for me to look at and see if I could come up with any information on the maker. I don;t know much, so I'm asking you guys for help. I'll try to post some pictures, alwaysa challange for my old brain.
The gun is well fit and finished. Nice English Walnut, with 24 line checkering pattern, very minor use marks. Metal shows no wear. Barrel is 30", mirror bright, .721", with 003" & .029" choke. Stamping o
n barrel reads "FLUSS STAHL above the bird with wing extended,and KRUPP ESSEN below. I don' see a date stamp on the flats, (before 1924?). Under the toplever in a circle are the letters S P I? Now I'll try posting pictures via Binko method.
