True it was the Conservatives that brought the ban in even going against the advice from their own enquiry; poor old Lord Cullen wasted his time on that one. But, it was Tony Blair that brought in minimum statutory sentencing for unlawful possession that took away the Court's discretion. Doesn't matter if it's found on a soldier or a drugs pusher; same punishment. That's the unfair part. Lagopus.....
