OP Larry21556 Sidelock Joined: Nov 2012 Posts: 122	There is an appearance of nicely figured wood under that dark finish, but I will leave it to some future custodian to clean it. I am content to occasionally wipe it down. I don't shoot these really old guns. I worry that the stock will crack. I live in Nevada and wood tends to get dry and brittle here. Today I think the relative humidity is about 12%.
