I wonder how that would throw off the balance and pointability of that piece? OWD have you hunted with one?

I know one of the guys as Beretta USA has hunted with one - or at least he took one out in the field for photos. I saw some pic online. I'd bet the farm Beretta had the foresight to allow that extra few ounces in those lockplates to be accounted for in overall feel and balance. A few extra ounces there, if it is even there, is no big deal when it's between the hands anyway, IMO. SRH May God bless America and those who defend her.
