OP ithaca1 Sidelock Joined: Dec 2014 Posts: 906 Likes: 30 Texas	Well I picked up my Ory and Duquenne 16ga yesterday. What a beautiful gun. This will be my 1st SXS with sling swivels. Now to find a quality leather sling. May I have some suggestions of what to look for in a shotgun sling and where to find it? Thanks, Bill Bill Johnson

It required a bit of modification, but it was great in the field, especially in steep chukar terrain. Men build too many walls and not enough bridges. -Isaac Newton

The best sling for your use is one of the "quick shortening" slings offered by the German Gun Collectors Association. These slings can be quickly shortened to prevent it catching on brush, etc. I have used this type sling for years with complete satisfaction on rifles as well as shotguns. Mike

The 3/4" Euro fits my factory Darne swivels perfectly. The NECG quick adjust sling is nice too, pretty convenient design for sure. Last edited by LeFusil; 10/23/15 09:56 AM.
