I have nearly the same gun. Mine was made by Powell for George West. They had a Pinfire conversion that I believe they held a patent on. Also the top lever is their design. I think it is a great system. It allows the hammers to be close enough together so you can cock both with your thumb at the same time. I can fire mine as quickly as a normal top-lever non-hammer gun.The first one may have the "loaded" indicators on the firing pins, their patent also. Is this the one Cabela's had for awhile? The folks at Powell are very nice. You can get a letter from them with no problem. Check their website for the how-to. It would make a nice addition to the gun. Enjoy I wish either of them was mine.
