It will eventually be the little sister to the sideplate gun that I built earlier except in .22lr and .410 bore. (two barrel set)

The new gun will be a scaled version of the 12 bore gun that I built last year. Here is a photo of that one. It was originally a Sterlingworth.

No. The barrels will be of dovetail lump construction as in the full-sized gun.

Lovely. Hope you'll give us frequent progress reports and pics. Do the sideplates house anything besides cocking indicators? Do you imagine dropping charging squirrels at spitting distance with perfectly regulated .22 barrels?
