8 x 72R ammo is impossible to find, can't even find factory brass. You'll have to form brass from 9.3 x 72R factory cases, still made by Norma, RWS, and S & B. Dies are in the $150 +- range. There's a good reason those drillings chambered for the 8 x 72R round seem "decent" in their pricing. Oh, bullets could also be an issue. Some 8 x 72R guns were bored .318, others .323. Good .318 bullets are hard to come by. Not impossible, though. If you can handle the ammo problems and the gun checks out otherwise, go for it, just be aware of the potential "issues."
