Dave,
I always enjoy seeing your 310ase guns. I have chased that model for some time.

I'm told the 310s have intercepting sears. I don't go inside these things. The 1918 12-gauge grip circumference is just under 4 1/4 inches and the 1947 16-gauge has a 4 3/4 inch grip circumference.

Lady [if any] AND Gentlemen, THANK YOU, very much for taking the time to post pictures of your fine old guns.I do and have enjoyed seeing them and would dearly enjoy seeing more if there is any left to behold on this site.I have just learned to enjoy the older exposed hammers and and I am trying to acquire my first exposed hammer gun. Seeing so many options is a real help for me to understand just how many types are available. I believe I may have located a model 20 16 ga that may just start a new addiction for my collection. Please keep them coming if at all possible. THANK YOU, SUDDENTHUNDER

Suddenthunder, Simpson, Ltd ( www.simpsonltd.com) in the Chicago area may have a few Husky hammer guns still available at reasonable prices. That's where I got mine. Have fun!

Here are some shots of my model 103 CS, 12 gauge, straight grip and 75 cm barrels. My favorite gun that has taken lots of quail, dove and clays. Take care, Mike <><

I have a hammer Husky underlever and it is a nice gun but the right barrel will not fire consistantly. Suffers from light firing pin strikes. I have swapped firing pins and springs to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas on a fix?

A couple of questions
Are you shooting reloads or factory ammo? If factory, what brand?
With reloads, and sometimes factory ammo, the face of the hull is indented and the misfire will happen. The remingtons in 16 gauge seem to have this concern. Ask a Citori owner.
Mostly MEC reloaders do NOT cause this problem, but some other brands do.
Second question, have you checked the headspace on your gun?
Using a fired, resized EMPTY hull, how many layers of scotch tape can you get on the back of the hull and still close the gun?
Report back and I may be able to give some hints
Mike
