The biggest problem with these elderly Foxes other than garage gunsmithing and outright abuse is the condition of the wood and barrels new stocks and barrel work can get expensive. If the wood is not cut, solid, not oil soaked, no cracks, splinters missing or deep gouges and the barrels are not deeply pitted, dented or cut it is absolutely worth $500.00 as a shooter. Add $150.00 to re-black the barrels and about the same to re-point the checkering after you refinish the wood and you will have a quality gun that will last you a lifetime.
