Didn't Rizzini just grind the corners off a Boss design action anyway?

Chuck, maybe Tony is taking Boss actions from the Petersen guns and converting them to Inverness guns. I can only wish that the Inverness had a Boss lockup. The Inverness has the Rizzini, Browning, Guerini type locking mechanisms which limit the shallow depth of receiver that we would prefer.

You might be right. Probably can't sell those clunky Boss guns anyway.

I am confused by the lack of internet discussion of the Inverness gun. I, personally, can't wait to get my Boss ribbed Inverness. Has CSMC exhibited the Inverness anywhere after the Southern? Who experienced the great new gun at the Northeast Shoot?

Up to this point I haven't had a single O/U in the house to corrupt my dandy doubles but this time Tony snatched me and I got the sucker ordered with 30" tubes and an open pistol grip, hopefully a POW. No wood upgrades, etc--just a good solid stick. Have absolutely no use for the gun and never will. But it's fun!

Joe, that's exactly the gun I ordered, and for the same reason. I have absolutely no use for it, but I like it. However, I ordered the Boss short rib for a ridiculous price, just to be different. Murphy

Tony had 2 guns at the N E shoot,a special and a POW grip. I believe that the pistol grip is really a POW. The long tang realy made the gun look great. It's expensive but I changed my orders from short to long. I think it makes the guns look very " Scot-ish ". 30" barrels, long stock. The special had a Boss quarter rib that was very nice.
