I came across a side by side made by Husqvaran in 1915, according to the serial number and the info from online sources. 12 gauge 2.5'' chamber, inspector mark "O" for Oskar Fredriksson and model stamp 310AS. The odd part about this all are the two Nazi stamps on the bottom of the barrels on the flats. One on each side of the lug. I can't find any source this. Sweden was not occupied by Germany, there are no German proofs. Any idea?

Sounds like a tube forge mark & not a Nazi symbol.

Firearms imported into Germany were re-proofed.

I own a crica 1906 Manufrance Ideal with Waffennamts and the date of 3 43 on the barrel flats.

I don't own the shotgun.... yet, but I will get pictures. I guess what I find odd is the nazi stamp has nothing else with it, no eagle or anything else. pictures to come soon.

Does it resemble the airstrip type mark:

If so, it is not a Nazi symbol. Maybe it was Geno or Tobias that had info on it??

Raimey, that is it! So is it a "proof" mark or inspector mark?

My 1918 vintage No. 310AS also has those marks, and according to the information I have they are a steel quality mark.

Those are not "Nazi" marks. They are old lappland runes that were used by Husqvarna to denote hammer forged barrels. Husqvarna discontinued using them during WWII.
