As you probably know,Hunter Arms made boxlock side by sides in several models-the Fulton,Fulton Special,Hunter Special and Ranger. The Hunter Special had the rotary bolt and the Fultons did not. I'm not as familiar with the Ranger. I'm assuming the Ranger was the same as the Fulton, without the rotary bolt, but can anyone confirm this.

Sears sold many "Ranger" marked shotguns and rifles between about 1926 and 1950, including the Model 104.3 Fulton Special. Hunter Arms made Rangers were usually marked "Precision" or "Precision Grade" and had twin beads, a capped pistol grip, and a Ranger-marked recoil pad. Hunter Arms also made about 9,000 bolt action shotguns for Sears in .410 (Ranger 104.5) and 20g (Ranger 104.7) in the 1940s.

Another Fulton Special, the "Gladiator", was made for Sears 1917-1919

As I'm sure you know, Stevens and possibly others also built guns for Sears marked Ranger.

Yes, there were definitely Stevens doubles sold by Sears under the Ranger name. I believe, in a past discussion--this is going WAY back--that some Nitro Specials were also sold as Rangers.
