An old fashioned Turkey drive and my Alex Henry .360 BPE...Smoked him! 60 grains of 2F Swiss and a 200gr Hawk bullet did the job quite well. https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipNULWJ5vUD1YWdC7km4TyahPMNT1K-302l1oG5PNot sure how to get the picture to show....Photobucket is not working so I'm trying out Google photos.

Well done, can't wait to see some pics.
Sort of off topic, but have you by any chance chronographed that load? I'm going to be developing a load for a H&H in .360 BPE, and plan on using that exact Hawk bullet and powder (along with trying 3F and 1 1/2F as well) with Bertram brass.

It didn't work SKB because it requires you to sign in to your google account.
Somebody messed up Photobucket, don't know who, but somebody did.

Very nice, Steve. Beautiful, the way the light shows the iridescence in the feathers.

Great looking bird, Steve. And as I would suspect, beautiful rifle. Happy Thanksgiving, my friend.

They have driven turkey shoots in New Zealand. Saw one on a tv show a couple years back. They shoot them in flight with shotguns.

This was more like a deer drive. I posted ahead while my partner very slowly tried to sneak within range. They had seen him and were watching him while they walked right in to me. The shot was at about 10 yards. About 25 hens and jakes passed the tree I was hiding behind before the tom came by. About 50 birds in all in the flock. My partner finally resorted to a shotgun to fill his tag. Old eyes and short range, open sighted rifles made for a challenging hunt.
