Hello gang.
I have a canvas oak W W Greener gun case that needs a strap repair.
Any suggestions.

Thanks Nitro

I use the local saddle/shoe repair leather guy. There are specialty shops that do case repairs that are probably better...Geo

I am presently having George Pittello in South Carolina re-line a vintage English leather case and make new straps for my Dickson. His name was provided by members here.

Found a leather shop in UK new straps on the way. 40 pounds.
I picked up replacement parts from Peter Dyson and will repair the handle myself.

Thanks for the info.

Handle done.
Sewn back onto the case and interior baize re-glued.
Broke 2 made in china needles in the process. Cheap crap.

Should last another 100 years.

And the overall, the strap keepers on the back are the dark colour and the strap keeper on the front matches the dark colour i used for the repair, maybe the lighter colour is original and the darker were previous repairs, the light keeper has reminants of a dark brown paint? force matching after the repair ?
