I remembered that Bazil Slaughter is the the man to go to for Verona issues, and just talked with him. He is going to look through his supply of buttstocks to see if he has one. I can fix that so that it is invisible, and stable. He said I could have it for $60, including shipping. Sent me a pic of it. I'm tickled as I can be. You're "responsible", Mike. I never would have called him if you had not suggested looking for a replacement stock. Thank you. I'll post pics after receiving it, and dealing with the crack. Just another little project for me to add to the others. I can work down the comb, if needed, on this one and keep the other one original. According to Bazil, the crack is on the left side only, which is a plus. SRH May God bless America and those who defend her.
