Not sure how that got in there. I get the links just as you described. Even did it a couple times when the first did not work. Thanks, got it fixed now.

John, if you modify a photo in imgur, it adds that stuff. At least it has for me, but it has always posted well for me.

My guess is that the scope is a Fecker Small Game (which came in a variety of lengths: 10", 12", 14" 16" and 18") with Unertl mounts. The scope on the bottom rifle looks like a Hensoldt Zielyt in a Redfield Senior or Tilden mount. What is the rifle? (I was referring to the first set of photos, since the second photos had not been published when I wrote this message.) I think you are correct on the scope. Found some old fecker ads and it sure looks like one. Thanks, John

Those are quite spectacular .22s. My 241 is nice but not even comparable to yours.

The left gun is the little Owen 12 that Petrov has written about. The right gun is a interesting little model 24 I picked up with a bunch of junk guns at auction.
The gun was barreled and stocked by Griffin and Howe for Edgar Monsanto Queeny, who was chairman of Monsanto from 1929 until 1960. He was an avid sportsman and duck hunter. He was evidently a lefty as well, as this rifle is stocked with cast on, or proper cast for a left handed shooter and has a reversed safety. His Model 21's which were sold by the same auction house had Winchester factory letters indicating they to were stocked with cast on as well.
The gun was pretty rough when I got it. The toe and head of the stock were both chipped and the finish looked like it had been stored in a damp basement and had mold growing on it.
When G&H barreled it they did away with the take down feature and used fairly heavy contour barrel.
