Brittany Man Sidelock Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 601 Likes: 39 Midwest	Straight uncut Tru-Oil works just fine on S.W. Silver pads if you want them shiny & slick. The pads will oxidize & get slick on their own in a year or so but w/ a more subtle shine.

AZMike Sidelock Joined: Feb 2019 Posts: 312 Likes: 73 SEAZ	I like Hawkins pads, A black on my Remington 32TC and a red one for my 1894FE. I have waxed then buffed Tre-Wax, for a nice low shine. Probably I'll use Renaissance Wax also.
