Hi all posted this on a couple other forums not much response so lets see what you folks have for me. This is kind of a informal poll. I just want to get some feedback from folks who have/had SST's on spanish guns. I'd like to get their experiences with them good or bad. Problems you may have encountered with them etc.

As for me, I have 3 spanish guns with them. I have not had any problems at all with any of them. They select when they are supposed to and I've never had one double or misfire.

How about you?

Thanks as always!!

Greg

I have one on a Model 53E, a top of the line sidelock 20 gauge. it is perfect, has never given any problems at all. I have had a couple others on lower grade guns, one a Matador II, don't remember the other grade, but it also was a low grade boxlock, and both were very stiff, but both worked, although one of them at times required flipping the selector back and forth to "reset" the trigger for the second shot. I think that, as a general rule, on the lower grade guns their single triggers were suspect, tended certainly to be stiff, but on upper end guns they were given more attention, as was everything else on the gun, and they work fine. I still prefer two triggers on any double barreled gun, however.
