JB,

Selection of wood is a personal thing, but IMO you picked a perfect piece. I like contrast figure, but not the 'marble cake' that seems so prevalant today. Just perfect.

Thanks for adding that, Marc. I do have SDH's book and it is an awesome work on the subject and what goes into his Foxes. I even bought an autographed copy for my brother for Christmas a couple of years ago. I would also like to see more of the work of other craftsmen like the one's posted here. I think the different interpretations are interesting and, of course, show as many variations as there are craftsmen. I'll try to get some photos of my work in progress up a little later today........not quite as adventurous as some of those projects already posted......but I think it will be pretty cool when its finished.

Wow J.B. and Bob

Those two guns make the Pin Gun I upgraded look like a stepchild. Those two look as good as the gun Steven Dodd Hughes did in his first book. Thank you for posting the pics. I would post pics of mine but I am in the caveman category when it comes to computers.

Regards, Gordon

It was J.B.Patton's gun that I remembered but all of the guns are great examples of what can be done. Thanks to everyone that posted pics.
