Thanks to Dave Weber for reminding us all of the virtues of good manners and breeding. There has been an increase in the number of personal attacks on this board, and I for one was becoming disgusted with the tenor of some discussions. Hats off to Dave for blocking a thread and reiterating the rules of the game. Let us discuss as gentlemen and disagree with honor and integrity. Thanks again Dave

Glad Dave steps in and blocks the horrible stuff, I come here for knowledge and information, contribute when I can, really upsets me when personal attacks start for no apparent reason, I just wander off. Life's too short,
Mike

Jimmy W:
Life is short and as a man of some 70 years I am well aware of that fact. Mine will soon be a memory.
Take note of my tag line on another site.

"Work like you don't need the money, love like you've never been hurt, and dance like you do when nobody's watching. Life is short. Make it mean something."

I have lived my life this way and even though my dancing is not worth watching, my heart still dictates that I live with joy in what I do.

You say that life it too short. It is too long for some.

Do something that sings to you and embrace a youth that will cherish your presence when you are long past. Do this, not for self, but for love of the good that can and will be.
Best,
John

Trees must bend in the wind and most get pretty gnarly. Some snap off short to become leaners. Don't call attention to the fact that you're dead before your time or should be. Don't lean too hard; don't spread the fungus.

Since my youth, I have always lived my life the way my hero, the great wrestler, Dick The Bruiser advised all us kids to do: "Win if you can, lose if you must, but always CHEAT. Then he would smash a beer can on his forehead. Maybe that's how I got this brain damage.

Gentlemen,
I have been very fortunate to have met many very nice people, Dave Weber, Rabbit,Yeti,Clint Eastwood, George Harrison etc.,(not name dropping but trying to make a point)On the climb up from oblivion my Dad said 'remember Son, on that climb upward, don,t upset anyone, as sure as hell they'll kick you on the way down.' I don't know who has been being obnoxious with their posts recently, but please heed my plea " Get a life stranger, life really is too short" Come to this board to talk about life in Brum and to contact artisans like 'The Cockney from Maine' (DT aka Crossed Cheese's) but please don't get bitter and twisted. There is only room for one bitter and twisted person in this World and he lives in Shropshire.
