I've read that several have questioned how to remove the top lever on a Nitro but haven't found any detailed how to's. Can anyone tell me how to do that before I get into the gun? Thank you for your time. DF

I think it'll be clear once you open it up. The only thing I really remember when my friend took his apart was that the hammers were an absolute b**tch to get back in. He ended up making a tool from a c clamp to compress the hammers and springs. Don't take them out unless you have to.

ooo oooo ooo pick me, pick me. I have the answer.

I made a tool (very easy fab) for the top lever spring that makes removal and replacement of that spring and screw a cinch.

I also made a tool (medium difficulty fab) for replacement of the hammer springs that make it pretty easy to replace these springs and install the hammers.

The only thing it would take for me to share this info is a bon-a-fide suggestion for pic hosting other than photobucket and a little time to get the pics and narrative loaded or someone who is willing to take my pics and words doc narrative via email and post on my behalf.

Thanks

Travis

I made a tool for the hammer springs from a C clamp but unfortunately this board doesn't host pictures and Tinypic was purchased by Photobucket and no longer works.

I don't post pics anymore unless hosted by the board itself, waste of time.

My problem lies in reconciling my gross habits with my net income.

Posting pics is easy to this site.

Step 1) Google ‘imgbb’ free web hosting site.

Step 2) Click on the ‘start uploading’ blue tab in the middle of the screen.

Step 3) choose which file you have the pic(s) saved to.

Step 4) select the pic you want to post.

Step 5) hit the ‘green upload’ tab.

Step 6) click on ‘embed codes’ select ‘bbcode thumbnail link’

Step7) click on ‘copy’

Step 8) paste the copied link onto the reply box of this site, then hit submit.

They appears in thumbnail size, just click onto the pic to view full size. This tutorial works with your computer or with, what I’m using Apple product iPad and or iPhone. It’s fee and you don’t have to save pics to imgbb. Easy Peazy...
