Hammergun Sidelock Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 738 Likes: 23 The Eastern Shore	RR-The Flues has no cocking rods. The cocking slide on the barrel lump bears directly on the hammer toes. Check the cocking slide for wear/looseness, although I think it's unlikely. Excess firing pin protrusion could also be part of the problem.
