It was unaffordable for a lot of people, Bill. My company was told they had to quit offering the insurance they had, a 4K deductible policy that was reasonably priced, because it didnt cover some portions of reproductive care, which, was irrelevant to my Wife and I. I had a whole 8 weeks to find something different.
I sat on hold with MN Care for 6 weeks. You may recall Minnesota had has a problem for about the last 5 years coming up with solutions to run the computerized aspects of state government, primarily due to the liberal douchebags who are in charge of that. When they finally answered the phone, I was told if there was an alternative available, we had to buy it, or be prosecuted by the IRS.
The alternative turned out to be a policy offered by the school district my wife worked for. She isnt a teacher, and the policy reflected that she wasnt their primary concern-it cost $30,000 a year, and featured a $10,000 deductible.
My wife worked 40 hours a week, and got a paycheck of $27-a month.
I have firsthand knowledge of how shitty a deal the whole unaffordable health care fiasco was. The mandate passed (thank God) and I found a better job with better options. But, you assholes still robbed us of a year of my Wifes pay.

By the way, you would have to be completely clueless to not know the 20,000 number you put up as insured mostly represents people who were shuffled into Medicaid.
You socialists always find a sky is falling non existent problem to make worse, then it was healthcare, now it is BS climate change or failure to secure our borders. You made/make everything worse every time you fools attempt something.

We see it. These are undeniably the best economic times of your entire stinking life, and your hatred for the man who brought it about wont let you see it.

As I said, get used to it. Until a Democrat figures out a way to dick it up.

Best,
Ted
