| What's a "CONNECTICUT VALLEY CLASSIC"? When Classic Doubles
International discontinued business, the principal owners still believed in
the Winchester 101 design and concept. On returning to New England, they
formed Connecticut Valley Classics to continue the 101 design in an American
made gun. The mechanical design was near identical to the Japanese version;
the most significant deviation was changing all threaded parts to American
thread sizes, and changing the frame and forend material to 416 stainless
steel. Most mechanical parts are, again, directly interchangeable with the
Winchester 101 OR the Classic Doubles. Competition proved to be too stiff,
and stateside costs to high to maintain adequate sales. CVC discontinued

This includes a new factory original straight grip field grade stock with Winchester buttplate, in satin poly finish or oil finish; and a traditional style large bow trigger guard (also an original Winchester part) in either blue or coin silver finish. Price for the conversion is $325 ($410 for Pigeon grade stock), and you’ll get your original stock and trigger guard back as well. I’d need only your receiver to fit & install, or you could send the entire back end of your gun. I can ship directly back to you, no dealer needed. Available Now – double trigger conversion !! Also available are original Winchester Winchoke tubes, new, in 12, 20, & 28 gauges. Knurled end tubes (1st series) are $15 each, and flush tubes (3rd series) are $16. As an alternative to Winchokes, I have Briley flush choke tubes in Cyl, Skt, Imp Cyl, Light Mod, Mod & Imp Mod. I also have original "Red W" pistol grip cap inserts for the 101's (88, 100, 1200, etc.) from the late 60's/early 70's, new - $12.
