Ladies and Gentlemen,

Welcome to the 12th Annual World Side-by-Side Championships and Exhibition! These festivities will take place at the Pintail Point Shooting Club in Queenstown, MD on 25-28 September 2008. We sincerely hope you can join us.

There are a few changes this year that may have an effect on you and your participation. The most significant being that most of the Side Event courses will be open on Thursday as well as on Friday and Saturday. More opportunity to shoot more guns... On Thursday you will be squadded, since, at this time, we do not know the extent of participation on that day. On each of these days, shooting should be completed by 5 PM.

The Fox Gun Collectors have a concurrent in which trophies and memberships will be given as prizes in the American Classics Event for people shooting Fox guns. Stop by their booth for all the pertinent information.

This year, as last, SYC Sporting Adventures will be providing a dove hunt drawn from all those participating in the 20 Bore Event and Hlathini Safaris will again be donating a Cape buffalo hunt to be drawn from the rifle shooters.

This year B&P ammunition will be supplying 2 boxes of 28ga shells for that side event.

Another slight change will be the European start for Sunday’s Main Event. That is, you must be on the course by 11 AM and finish no later than 2:30 PM. All-in-all there have been some wonderful additions to the already superlative Vintage Cup, World Side-by-Side Championships. Again we sincerely hope you can join us for the camaraderie, fine friends, great guns and friendly competition that have been the hallmark of the Vintage Cup.
