A local shop has a Stevens 235 shotgun in very good condition except for the butt stock. Would make a nice winter project for another hammer double... Just love those hammer guns!
I see Macon Gunstocks and Gunstocks Inc both list the 235.
Any recommendations one over the other?

Macon Gunstocks are NOT honorable.....had a very bad experience with them.....THEIR QUALITY IS GARBAGE......suggest you not do business with these crooks....
Suggest Gunstocks Inc. or anybody else.....Silverhill in NC is also very good......will make any stock for you....Look on GB under name of Silverhill1.......
