I have an extremely well made 16Ga Double with "Joh Kalezny" engraved within the exceptional scroll engraving on the left sideplate.
Sidelock Ejector, Chopper Lump barrels, 27 1/2" barrels, Anson Deely forend.
Can anybody give me info? It appears to be either German or Austrian.
Regards,
Bill Marshall
I have it in my locker but do not recall.

Serial number 2338, Number 2 of a matched pair. It has been re-blacked but curiously shows very few signs of wear to suggest a need. A beautifully well made side by side. I'm speculating pre-war (II).

Need a better image of the water table and area forward of the flats. Looks like 1907 with a reproof in 1955.

This one above, in the 2500 range serial number range, is estimated 1914.
Thank you so much for the rapid and expert feedback. I was pleased with this little beauty Before I knew anything about it.
Regards,
Bill
Bill, if you have it out snap some images of the marks for my files and text, if you are to be inclusive with permission of use of course.

So when they are removed you know the left one and the right one and they will index when re-installed

Your Kalezky gun has survived WW 1, WW 2, German invasion of 1939, Russian invasion
of 1945, has Prague reproof from 1955, one should assume it
has been restocked with beech-type walnut-wood, barrels probably
corroded and if not have been polished out to paper-thin
barrel-substance and thus at best ugly-stock and action-status
... in 19 cases out of 20 this will apply ...
nevertheless at what price would you consider to part
Kind regards
Felix
It 1st experienced proof in 1907. So you think the tubes are at a minimum? Good to see you check in Mr. Neuberger. Still we await with baited breath for the Lovely Lovena article.
