Maybe I missed this discussion previously but I was wondering...
If you use 20 ga gaugemates in a full choked 12ga, are you getting the same result as a 20 ga choked cylinder? Has anyone patterened these?

In most cases as long as you stay within 8 points of gauge(12ga reduced to 20ga.)the pattern will be appox. what the choke of the carrier bbl. is . Meaning a 12ga full choke bbl. will pattern very close to a 20 ga. full choke pattern ,if a 20ga. reducer is used in the 12 ga. bbl.
