Guys, Thanks for all of the info, I bought the gun today for 1125.00. It is like new, I would like to find a competent smith to work on my doubles in NC. Does anyone now a good and ethical smith in eastern NC or nearby?

Sorry, I can't help with the smithy but can you post some pictures of your new gun? I know we'd all like to see it. Enjoy the gun!

ponter, contact Ken Hurst in Robersonville. That's about as near to the middle of eastern NC as you can get. He engraves and Boone Berlin, a stocker, is about a block away. Ken should be able to steer you in the right direction if he or Boone can't help. He posts here regularly and includes his phone #. A simple search will locate him under the user name Ken Hurst. Or try kenhurst@suddenlink.net
