Opened her up because...well I wanted to see whats inside...yes, I'm that kind of guy...
Please bear with me, because I don't know all the parts exact names, and all i can do is explain what it does...
Inside the right side lock, there is a broken piece. It is on the outside (essentially the last piece put on). It serves as the support for the pin that the hammer is attached to. If I cock the hammer back, I see the pin rotating in this piece. It is being held on by 3 screws, 2 close together on the front side, one on the back. The screw on the back also goes through the sear for this side. This is where it is broken. I have two semi circles around the screw holding the sear on.
Pictures coming as soon as I can find the cord that goes between my camera and computer...
I am assuming that a lock piece for a 120 year old shotgun is going to have to be hand made.....that stinks....unless it can be soldered back together?
Pretty much, when I get around to posting pictures, I need to know if there are any places that sell parts for our old guns, or who makes parts....or if it could be soldered... :P

The Greg, that piece is called a bridle and it is designed to hold the other pieces in line. It is very important to proper functioning. Hard to say without a picture but I suppose it could be TIG welded and refit. Find a good gunsmith to do it. Worse case senario a new one could be made though I imagine it'd be costly. There will be no source of ready made parts--sorry.

depending on the break, I have silver soldered them(before I bought my Tig machine), new ones can be made also. It just depends on the situation. I'd be glad to get her back right if you like.

 you can see at the bottom of the bridle around the third screw hole where it is broken....I don't know, but it might be a delicate piece of work... Sorry about quality of the picture, it was taken with my cellphone....can't find that stupid cable...

Unless it's an absolute crap casting, that should be a pretty easy fix.
Whether it's simply an "anneal/push back into shape/clean/chamfer/weld/machine" job
or a "clip/build with weld/machine to shape" job,
it should be a relative cinch.
There's not much feature to deal with at that screw pocket.
Once it's welded and prepped, a plunge with an endmill or tiny boring bar will restore the screw pocket, a drill will restore the screw hole. A quick trip to the surface grinder or flycutter for the back face and it's ready for finish and action.
I'd call it a Time/Material job if it were mine and let the smith have a white card from there.
Looks like easy money for Steve and a sure bet for Greg.
