Wow! A 12g prototype RBL...this should make those 16g guys nuts. Chris must be Tony's cousin or brother-in-law.
I've got a piece of paper here somewhere that says I gave a deposit on 9-29-05. I hope to be able to hunt it next season.
Hey Chris, great to see one in use.

It is a nice gun in the field and thanks.
To answer the ammo question........TALENT is all it takes!!!
Guess I wasn't hunting alone.... I would take the prototype though!
If you are still waiting for one...I think it will be worth it.

I'm glad to see the RBL turning out to be all the gun that everyone expected and more.
Congratulations........

I generally hate any beavertail forearm but have to say what they have come up with on these guns is as good of looking one as I have ever seen.

Dblf, totally agree on the beavertail forearm!!
I generally hate them too. They got this one right. (Not that I would order one though).

Chris,
Rees Day had a used RBL at his shop he let me borrow for the weekend. Put a couple of hundred shells through it at Elk Creek yesterday and though it is raining and nasty out I'm taking it to Wilnore for a couple hundred more today. Off to Elk Creek again tomorrow with the borrowed RBL for a few couple of rounds and will give Rees my coments on Monday.

That must have snuck in while we were on the trip! Let me know how you like it! I shot mine all 3 days. It is the 3rd hunt I have taken it on and I really like it. Be sure and let me know what you think of it. I need to get up to Lex in the next week or so. Maybe I will get to shoot some up there!!

Chris,
If I'm not mistaken, this RBL is yours! Hope to see you when you come up.

I had a private communication with Chris and explained that I did not have his gun. It was a prank I played on him. I admit this in fear that those that know Rees Day might think it odd he loaning out someone else's gun. He would never do that and I am sorry if I have impugned him in any way.
