Not the first time I've ever seen it, but I've always wondered how the toe of a stock can get broken clean off without breaking the buttplate. If impact related, the BP would go too. In this case, could the break be tied to the screw hole somehow (an attempt to use an oversized replacement screw perhaps)? TT
