I am thinking I might like to try muzzleloading and was wondering if there are any good books or websites for a beginner? Also where can I look to find a nice english percussion double that wont break the bank? What is the going rate for an entry level gun? Thanks, JB

Hi JB, Your best bet might be to buy a Pedersoli SxS. They are good guns, replicas of English game guns. They have chromed bores and modern steel barrels. Even a new one will cost less than an original in good condition. Used ones show up on Gunbroker and sites like that. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/SearchR...loading+shotgun

There used to be a lot of info in the Dixie Gunworks Catalog, I think a bought my first muzzle loading shotgun from them. Just remember to step up wind for the second shot.
