Looks very much like Engalls & Troch (Spelling) a Gunmaker from the Boston Mass area. I believe they were in business up into the 1930s We had one around this area for a few years. M98 Mauser in 30-06. Had a set trigger. The type that when you set it a little fly would pop out of the Trigger proper. I cannot remember the name right now. Thing is it shot poorly when you used the set and shot superbly when you just used the Trigger the hard pull way. Steady squeeze until it suprised you. Then it shot super. Rgards, FITZ.
