We're already well above the reserve, so the seller would seem to be happy at the level the bidding has reached. But, I wanted to answer the question about the gun, as they don't come along very often. I bought a John Nichols gun first announced on this site a few weeks ago.

The seller's claim that this is"obviously a higher grade gun in incorrect. It is an "E" grade, the lowest one made. Still an attractive bit of Lefever history and I hope you get it. > Jim Legg <
