Parker Hale double in 28 ga.

A friend of mine showed up today with a beautiful little 28 ga. Parker Hale double in 28 ga. to shoot at skeet.

We couldn't figure out how it was choked.

Under one of the barrels was stamped--14 and under the other --13.9. And one barrel had 3 stars stamped under it and the other had 4 stars.

I figured one of you guys would know. Can you help us please?

You didn't say who the maker is but if they start with 1 star for full it should be Modified(3)and IC(4).

A Parker Hale import should be an Ugartechea.

Jim is correct: 4 stars is improved, 3 is modified.

BTW, 2 stars is improved modified and 1 star is full.

Most likely millimetere bore size.
