OP Idared Sidelock Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 158 Central Washington	I was paging through a book of Whelen's last night and ran across a picture of a rifle that he said was: Quote: The last Springfield Model 1903 rifle which the author had remodeled into a hunting type, representing the highest development of this arm It further said the metalwork was done by Griffin & Howe and the stock by Alvin Linden. Does anyone know where this rifle is today and any further specs of it such as caliber, barrel length, sights etc? The remodelled Springfield is the best and most suitable all 'round rifle. - Seymour Griffin
